She's a key part of the team, helping to meet new people, updating our social media and setting up the site. If you come along to our group, chances are it's she or Kat you'll meet with her gorgeous smile!
She says:
"Back in January 2022 I turned up in the pouring rain with my then 8 month old son and 2 year old daughter. Kat found me at the gates struggling to get them in waterproofs and I’ll admit close to tears . It was all a little overwhelming and her immediate kindness and support was the start of a wonderful friendship and we’ve never looked back. Little Robins is an integral part of our week and we learn so much about nature and ourselves every session. We love continuing to return that support to help Kat set up, organise and welcome new and familiar members. You’ll also read our weekly adventures on the Facebook page."

She says:
"As a Mum of two boys I have always loved spending time with children outdoors -I cannot stay sat inside for very long! I have incorporated outdoor play into my work at Barnardos, as a child minder and in a school. I was one of the first people to undertake the forest school qualification and more recently completed the Therapeutic Forest School course. As a Foster Carer, there is something very special about watching children enjoy the natural world and I feel very privileged to be a part of their adventures."

She says:
An hour in the woods never fails to lift my spirits, even on those icy December days! It does everybody good to clamber onto a fallen tree trunk, bundle into a den together and discover the world that lives underneath a stone or stump. It’s been a joy to be involved in teaching outdoors: the thrill of a trip to the woods in the middle of a school day always is tangible amongst a class of 5 year olds who can’t wait for the freedom to explore with all of their senses! And it’s catching!
