Our Wild and Free programme for 2024-5 has come to an end. We are taking this time to gather feedback and thoughts, and pursue more funding for new programmes in 2026.
But we need your feedback to shape our future work, so please get in touch and tell us what we did well and what didn’t work as you hoped. We can only gather funding and shape our work with your input, it couldn’t be more valuable to us.
Our Saturdays are Wild and Free!
Wild and Free has been our Saturday event throughout the year, funded by the National Lottery’s Community Fund. All our Wild and Free events are totally free, but we ask everyone to book in advance so you can enjoy our space without it being too crowded.
Some of our Wild and Free days are open directly to the public, and some are booked through local partners to make sure that we can hold spaces for those who might not otherwise get them.
Once a month they are for everyone, once a month we hold a space only for families living with SEN.

Wild and Free for all
The first saturday of the month for anyone wanting to go wild
Our big monthly Wild and Free morning for anyone who would like to explore our space. Craft and play, nature connection and tea and coffee for the grown ups.
If you have come to one of our other Saturdays, you are welcome to come to this too!

Wild and Free Families
The second Saturday of each month for families referred to us through local Schools
We work with local schools and their Family Workers to offer fully funded, tailored Wild and Free days to families in our private woodland, with our experienced team of teachers and Forest School Leaders.

Wild and Free for SEN Families
The third Saturday of each month for families living with special needs and their siblings
On the third Saturday of the month we hold a space specifically for families and siblings of those with special needs (diagnosed and undiagnosed). If this sounds like your thing then come and join us to play in the woods with our specialist team of teachers and Forest School leaders.
We’ve got two lovely summerhouses for parents to rest in, while we get muddy and crafty with the kids. We’ll get the kettle on, you just pack everyone out the door to us and we will handle the rest.
Wild and Free in partnership with Parenting Special Children
The fourth saturday of the month for families with SEND, referred to us by PSC
Parenting Special Children (PSC) provide specialist parenting support to parents and carers of children and young people with Special Needs, so that they can create positive change in their lives. We are huge fans; many of our team have benefitted from their support for our families over the years.
We are chuffed to be working in partnership with PSC on selected Saturdays to hold space for their groups to explore nature and craft on-site.
